Nancy Rommel O.G.N.P.
Nurse Practitioner

Nancy Rommel is a Nurse Practitioner and the owner of Release to Wellness.  She began her nursing career in 1985, working as a Registered Nurse alongside excellent Nurse mentors in the ICU department at TMC.  After graduating from the University of Phoenix as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Women’s Health in 1995 she spent 4 years working in a busy OB/GYN office.  These experiences both prepared her and sparked an interest in holistic care and alternatives to medications.  With the support and supervision of an adept OBGYN she started her own practice in 1999, and Release to Wellness was created.
With continuing education in Functional Medicine and Nutrition her practice model has evolved over the years.  A desire to treat each patient as an individual, looking at both their physical and emotional needs, has created a health care practice that Nancy is proud to have created and an environment that she is honored to be a part of.

Shalina Henderson
Office Manager

Shalina has spent most of her life in Arizona, graduating from Pima Medical Institute with a Medical Receptionist degree.  Shortly after receiving her degree she started a family and she and her husband ran a small business together until 2008, when she became a patient of Nancy’s.  She was so impressed with Nancy’s knowledge and compassion towards patients that when she heard Nancy was looking for a front office receptionist she turned the small business over to her husband full time and began working with Nancy in April of that year.  Shalina is now the Office Manager at Release to Wellness and handles the scheduling as well as the billing of the patients.  She loves her job and the people that she works with, and knows how blessed she is every day.

Jessica Sprague
Oops! Owner

Jessica was born in San Diego, CA and lived for many years in Virginia.  When she was in high school, she moved with her parents to Tucson and has been here since.  She has been in customer service management with roles including store manager, multi-store manager, training manager and district manager for over 18 years.  After 15 years with Circle K Corporation Jessica decided to pursue her dream of opening her own business.  She opened Oops! Laser Tattoo Removal in December 2016, joining the other gifted practitioners at Release to Wellness, with a desire to provide an affordable option for tattoo removal and lightening.  In her first year of business, Jessica has helped over 500 clients remove past mistakes.  She loves hearing the stories of why they got the tattoo and why they decided to have it removed.  Her favorite part of her job:  hearing updates from clients who have had their tattoos removed and how it has affected their lives.  Jessica’s honesty, ethics, compassion, and enthusiasm for what she does make her a perfect fit for the practice!
